Trained in classical singing, musical theatre, and pop, Leah Barniville is a diverse Irish performer who, for her years, has a wealth of experience working in the musical theatre and entertainment industry. At 14 years old she found herself on one of the UK’s biggest talent shows, Britain’s Got Talent, where she made it through to the live semi-finals receiving a standing ovation from all 4 judges, including Simon Cowell. Since her appearance on the show, Leah’s worldwide audience has continued to grow and she has received over 60 million views on YouTube and has sold out multiple concerts. Over the past couple of years, she has spent a lot of time living in London working alongside industry professionals in the field of music and entertainment, and also undertaking extensive, specialised performance training. Leah has performed as a solo artist in many prestigious venues both at home, in Ireland, and abroad. Most notably, the Royal Albert Hall in London, the National Opera House (Wexford), The Convention Centre (Dublin), Bord Gáis Energy Theatre (Dublin), The National Concert Hall (Dublin) and in Áras an Uachtaráin for Ireland’s President, Michael D. Higgins. Most recently, Leah was invited to perform as a special guest with Chris de Burgh on his ’50 Years of Music’ tour in Cork Opera House. In addition to her performing career, Leah has been developing her career as a recording artist and has been releasing music since 2019 across all digital platforms including iTunes, Apple Music and Spotify. Leah is currently working on the development of an innovative music project with two-time winner and five-time nominee of the Academy Award, Indian composer AR Rahman.
