King John Summer Prom festival 2025
Kings Johns Summer Prom to kick off in Trim, Co Meath in August 2025. This festival will be held in Trim Town, located in Peterstown, Navan Rd, Trim. Please see below for shuttle bus information. The event will coincide with the 30th anniversary of the making of the Hollywood epic Braveheart and it is our Theme for our 2025 festival.

About The Festival
We will have some Great Movie Scores with a live Orchestra on the Friday Evening followed by a Saturday matinee with the Movie scores of the Legend James Horner been played by one of Ireland’s leading Orchestras.
There will then be a intermission before our movie at 7.30.
This will be Followed by a Screening of the movie Braveheart with several of the Original cast members present we will also be in the company of The Members of the William Wallis society from Scotland.
There will be a concert on Sunday to close out our Festival, the Neill Diamond Hot August night show, it won’t disappoint.

Shuttle Bus Info
Shuttle buses will be leaving the Trim Castle Hotel bus car park every few minutes for an hour and a half before the beginning of each show. Please note, there is no wheelchair access on these shuttle buses. If you require assistance, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you.
There is no parking on site
The venue can be accessed by the foothpaths out from the town or via our shuttle bus.

Orchestral Odyssey at King John’s Summer Prom with the Irish School Orchestra
Family Concert
Join us for an exciting family adventure with Orchestral Odyssey, a magical concert experience for children of all ages at the King John Summer Prom Festival in Trim, Co. Meath. Neil Diamond’s Hot August Night the concert

Celebrating the anniversary of the legendary recording “Hot August Night”, PETER BYRNE brings Neil Diamond to you together with a 30-piece symphony Orchestra. It will be 53 years since Neil Diamond stepped on stage at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles and recorded what is still known today as one of the greatest epic live albums of all time. Now that album will be re-created in its original format by Dublin born international artist Peter Byrne and the Irish Philharmonic Orchestra.
