About The Festival
Due to the massive success of the King John Summer Prom 2025, we are back July 2026.
Voyage – Ireland in Song earned five standing ovations at last year’s festival and we are delighted to be performing this concert with full orchestra again on the 6th, 7th 8th July, this time in the Trim Castle Hotel.
The 2025 festival saw Mel Gibson and the cast of Braveheart return to Trim where the movie was shot for three days of orchestral music including Voyage – Ireland in Song, Heroes and Legends – Iconic Movie Scores hosted by Simon Delany with a 65 piece orchestra, the Orchestral Odyssey family concert and Perter Byrne’s Neil Diamond Tribute.
There was also a screening of Braveheart.
€10,000 was donated to Actors Equity Ireland.
